Ride assistance needed
Well all you fabulous family and friends, dad needs a few rides over the next few weeks. Jimmy (nephew) is able to get him to his doctor's appointments, but he has a few social events that he would like to go to if possible. On Friday mornings he meets with his Coffee Club at Apple Green on old Route 15 in Sturbridge. They meet at 11:00 and are there until around 1:00-ish. If anyone is available to bring him to this he would really appreciate it (possibly Auntie Jeanne too, if she's up for it that day). You are welcome to stay and visit with them as well, but if you are not able to stay, we are pretty sure someone there can bring him home afterwards so he could just be dropped off. The dates for these are 9/25, 10/1 and 10/3. On the 2nd Thursday of each month his Alzheimer's support group meets in Eastford from 7:00-8:30, he would also like a ride to the one next month (10/8). Once he is cleared to drive again he should be good to go, but until then, he would love to still...
